ISPNI (The International Society of Peripheral Neurophysiological Imaging) is a young organisation, dedicated to use of different imaging modalities, particularly ultrasonography, to visualise nerves, muscles and structures surrounding them.
The organisation started as an initiative of ultrasonographic enhusiasts, and at its beginning it had a strong Italian flavour. Nevertheless, it soon became international, and now it has an international executive board. Its pivotal activity is organisation of annual meetings consisting of a Course and a Conference. On these meetings delegates learn ultrasonographic techniques and to integrate imaging with patients clinical features and clinical neurophysiological methods.
This year ISPNI annual Course and a Conference will take place for the first time in a virtual format. It will be organised by our Dutch colleagues, Hopefully, we meet this year online, and next year in person at our next meeting.
